Power Plinth & Trenching
Infrastructure improvements carry on safely with temporary fence
Improving infrastructure around Auckland is essential to continue with ongoing developments. Temporary fencing is critical on these sites, as most of this infrastructure work is being constructed in very established areas with high traffic. The fence isolates the construction site and the dangers within but also help to keep the public safe and away from the site.
The photos taken of this civil project show the site establishment and fencing installed by the GHLTemp Fence team within an existing and busy car park. The fence is a prelude, as preparations begin for the installation of a new power plinth and trenching for additional cabling to the plinth.
Given this project was located in a high traffic carpark, GHL not only ensured the safety of the cars in the carpark, but also the pedestrians walking through the car park past this highly dangerous site.
Another unique feature of our temporary fencing system is the use of our hi-visibility concrete feet. The colour ensures that the feet are visible so the fence itself does not become a trip hazard from the passing pedestrians and the heavy weight of the concrete adds stability to the fence during high winds.
GHL Temp Fence take safety on site seriously, we follow the Health and Safety regulations closely and are always developing our fencing and associated products to make securing your construction site even easier.
