GHL temporary fencing blazes a trail along the Albany Highway upgrade

As part of a wider strategy to improve transport links on the north shore of Auckland and with the rest of Auckland, the Albany Highway upgrade will assist transport flow to cope with the increased population in the next ten years. This highway is a regional major thoroughfare crossing five schools, residential areas, the North Harbour industrial estate and Massey University.

Strict compliance and experience with Auckland Transport regulations and LTSA, makes GHL TempFence the respected contractor for the Albany Highway upgrade. We were able to provide a service level that worked within the Auckland Transport traffic management plans during construction and all our equipment and workers adhered to the site safety protocols.

This civil project highlights our experience and range of temporary fencing solutions on major civil projects along roads and footpaths. In this particular civil project, we have used various types of temporary fencing including the traditional 2.0m high fencing along the major road, protecting workers, the public and drivers from the dangers of construction and heavy machinery.

New construction barriers fit safety compliance

GHL also provided the temporary construction barriers that have been specifically designed to offer a fully compliant temporary fencing solution, in particular sites where the traditional crowd control barrier does not comply. These temporary construction barriers have a high visible mesh insert and each panel is interlinked for additional protection for the public and stability.
