Division on campus – with temporary fencing
The Albany campus of Massey University located on the north shore city of Auckland is seeing big growth with over 7000 students enrolled each year. To house some of these new students, a modern accommodation facility was built last year. GHL provided the range of temporary fencing solutions during its construction, to protect the work site employees and contractors plus the large number of university campus staff and students attending the university.
The right temporary fence solutions for safety
Around the construction site, a 1.8m high regulation temporary fencing with stability bracing and feet was erected for the safety of the workers, equipment and pedestrians. In sections where Massey University simply wanted to divert the public away from an area, GHL erected less obtrusive and ‘easy to move’ crowd control barriers.
Stable temp fence on all surfaces
With our knowledge and range of equipment, we were able to erect a solid, safe fence that was stable on paved surfaces, builders’ rubble and dirt. We also ensured the fence met the safety regulation height at all points along the fence.
Opening gates and bracing installed for added safety and stability
Installation of GHL temporary fence gates at crucial points around the construction made for an efficient, easy to access and safe work site. The gates were locked for tight, overnight security. Extra bracing to each panel improved the fences stability in wind and accidental knocks.
GHL can provide quotes for both temporary fence hire and sales, so you can make an informed, cost-effective decision.
