Residential at Eugenie Rise
Fencing in native parklands during construction
Totara Heights is surrounded by the lush green forest of Totara Park and the Auckland Botanic Gardens. Tucked in behind these stunning gardens on Eugenie Rise is the construction of 98 houses being built in stages, creating a parkland community for busy lifestyles.
Temporary fence is the solution
GHL Temp Fence has been contracted to secure the construction area with 1.95m high temp fencing. This fencing will secure the public from the heavy equipment and materials onsite but also protect the native bush, established trees and children’s playground. Temp fences do not require digging to disturb the ground and can be easily moved around as construction needs change.
The issues with larger construction sites
When securing larger development sites there are several issues that need to be taken into consideration:
- The strength of the temporary fencing during construction. GHL TempFence bracing system is strategically placed to give the fence additional stability which will see the project through to the end.
- The flexibility of the use of the temp fence as the access areas to the site change during the various building stages.
GHL Temp Fence also has temporary gates for pedestrians or vehicle access (4.8m) allowing multiple access zones, without compromising the security of the site.Vehicle access gates are created with two x 2.4m long temp fence panels and adding gate hinges, gate wheels, and securing with gate keepers.
