The Otahuhu town centre transformation aims to upgrade the streets and public spaces to provide better connections and infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists. The upgrade involves work along Station road, Princes Street & Great South Road and aims to provide shared walking-cycling paths throughout the town centre. Traffic Signals will also be installed on Princes Street and Great South Road to improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.

The $16 million upgrade will be carried out in stages and GHL TempFence have been onsite since day one to help keep disruptions to businesses and locals to a minimum.
