Hockey World League Finals and GHL TempFence - Event Fencing

New Zealand were hosts to the Hockey World League Finals at the North Harbour Hockey Stadium in November 2017. There was plenty to cheer about for New Zealand, by the end of the finals, our Black Sticks finished in Silver position and moved up to Fourth in the World rankings – Congratulations Team.

The Stadium underwent a major transformation to ensure the crowds supporting their teams were accommodated; three thousand temporary seats, a VIP Lounge, Media Centre and over 500m of Temp Fence were installed…

  • Over 90 metres of crowd control barriers
  • 450 metres of temporary fencing
  • 400 metres of blue shade cloth - Sourced especially for the client.

Additional bracing on the shade cloth temporary fencing was installed to give the fence stability, safety and strength. The attachment of shade cloth brings additional risk in windy weather conditions but the GHL Temp Fence bracing system, using an extra 96kg’s of concrete filled fence bases, ensured this fence wasn’t going anywhere.
